We are impacting our community through environmental responsibility. We are the massive small change we want to see in the world. HFV is increasing the quality of life, work, and social outcomes for the homeless and hungry, promoting self-sufficiency. We offer a hand-up, not a handout. We start small but think big. Starting on the local level but with international open-source exposure. Our ultimate goal is global; we hope our efforts and open source "Proof of Concept" will inspire others worldwide to pursue inexpensive housing and relentlessly produce massive amounts of food.
HFV is on a mission to educate, assist, and inspire homeless veterans. We are addressing veterans' critical needs in our local community and for the world. Locally, we provide essential support for homeless veterans and their families through food, shelter, education, and a hand-up to achieve self-sustainability. Globally, we are pioneering environmental and ecological methods of living that will serve as "proof of concept" for sustainable, eco-friendly living. Our efforts will impact homeless populations worldwide, assisting the mentally disabled, mentally ill, those struggling with substance abuse, and formerly incarcerated through restorative sources of sustainable shelter and healthy food using organic gardening and aquaponic practices.
